Due to the holiday season, Texas A&M University System offices will be closed from December 23, 2014 - January 2, 2015. The Extension Online Help Desk will remain open; however, expect delays. We will do our very best to respond to your help requests as quickly as possible.
How is each online course structured?
Course content varies depending on the topic.
Most courses are structured this way:
Introduction & Course Objectives
Pre Learning Assessment: Multiple choice and true/false questionnaire related to the course content. This is not for a grade and you can not fail the pre learning assessment.
Course Content & Sections: Course content is divided into sections. After you have completed a section, click on the "Next Section" button located at the bottom to move on to the next section.
Course Activity: Each course contains a brief, self-directed activity related to the course content.
Brief Final Exam: At the end of the course, you will be asked to complete a multiple choice and true/false questionnaire. If you fail the final exam 2 times, you will be unable to retake the course and exam. We strongly encourage you to carefully review all course material before attempting the final exam.
Upon successful completion of the brief final exam, you will be given the option of obtaining a certificate.
Before obtaining some certificates, you may be required to pay a small processing fee.
Download, save, email or print your certificates directly from your account at anytime.
You or your employer can verify a certificate at anytime by entering its unique certificate ID number.
