About Certificates:

• To receive credit and a verifiable certificate, participants must pass a brief final exam
• Some certificates also require payment of a small processing fee
• All certificates can be verified online

To Obtain a Certificate for a Course:

• Register for a free Extension Online Account or Sign In
• Enroll in a course. Before enrolling in some courses, you may be required to pay an enrollment fee.  If there is a fee for a course, it will be clearly indicated within a course listing.
• Complete the pre-learning assessment
• Review & Learn the course content at your own pace
• Take a brief final exam
• Upon successful completion of the final exam, you will be given the option of obtaining a certificate
• Before obtaining some certificates, you may be required to pay a small processing fee. If there is a fee for a certificate, it will be clearly indicated within a course listing.
• Access your current certificates anytime from within your Extension Online account.   You will need access to a printer to print your certificate.
• You or your employer can verify a certificate at anytime by entering its unique certificate code
