Financial Emergency Preparedness
This course will provide tools and strategies to make sure you are financially prepared to deal with an emergency or natural disaster. Recommendations for developing an Evacuation Grab and Go box of necessary financial documents are provided along with a review of insurance. This course has been approved for 1 PDU by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences for CFCS and CPFFE certifications.

Crop Insurance
Crop insurance can be a confusing topic. Farmers, ranchers, and educators need a tool to help explain USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA) and the crop insurance policies available to them. This 1-hr course will help you to understand RMA's role in crop insurance and what policies may be available to you. Additionally, this course will address available policies in Texas and New Mexico, crop insurance terms, producer responsibilities, and how to locate a crop insurance agent.

This course is designed for high school students, who want to go to college, but just aren't sure how they're going to pay for it. The course gives an overview of how to apply for financial aid, how the financial aid process works, compares the differences between Federal and private student loans, and discusses the implications of accruing student loan debt.
